Receive Discovery Call

You will receive a Discovery call by one of our solicitors. This is will be 15 minute introductory call to answer any questions you had on the enquiry form and to let you know if you have a case. If you do and are happy to proceed, our solicitors will set up an appointment with you for your 90 minute  First Consultation.

First Consultation

Your first consultation will be with one of our caring solicitors. Your appointment will be 90 minutes where you will be able to tell your whole story. By the end of the consultation, you will know where your matter is headed, how much it will cost and ow long it could take from start to finish.

Sign Contract

If you choose to go ahead with Garrison Lawyers, at this point you will sign your Costs Agreement with your solicitor and sign a contract to proceed with your matter

  • Write down every question you wish to ask our solicitors. Don't be shy!
  • Prepare a list of all the events that have occured leading up to you seeking to proceed with a family law matter, and have them in chronological order.
  • A list of everything you own.
  • A notepad and pen to take notes, or a close friend/family member that you trust to help you take notes down.

You have the option of having a face to face appointment with our solicitors in 3 locations, Sydney CBD, Parramatta or Wollongong.

You can also opt to have your consultation, or follow up appointments by phone, or video through Zoom or Microsoft Teams

The fastest way to be able to speak to one of our solicitors is through the enquiry forms. They have access to these forms immediately, and the more information you provide, the faster they can prioritise your case and contact you to set up your first consultation!
